So the cinnamon in our supplement is the exact species used in the tests, rather than something close to or in the same family.

Second--and this is important--, all of the competing products that we reviewed contained additives. Some contained just fillers, and others included additional herbs or nutrients. With such products, it is difficult to know the exact does of cinnamon that you are taking.
